We do seasonal consignment, spring/summer and fall/winter. Generally we are accepting spring/summer items between December to July, and fall/winter between July to December. If you aren’t sure what we are accepting just give us a call!

4 EASY STEPS

How it Works

STEP #1

Declutter that closet

Everyone has clothing in their closets that they no longer wear. Declutter your closet and make money doing it! Dannie Duluth accepts women's seasonal clothing and upscale shoes & purses. The clothes offered on consignment must be in very good condition, usually less than two years old or classic in design. We are selective for clothing consignments, and your garments must pass our quality standards (no signs of wear, no damage, no alterations) and we take up to some plus sizes. Items that we do not accept will be returned to you immediately.

STEP #2

Bring your items to the store

Bring your items clean, pressed and on disposable hangers (wire or plastic) to Dannie Duluth - no appointment necessary! We will not accept clothing items that are not on hangers, as we need to be able to place them on a rack and quickly look through your items to make sure they pass our quality standards. Please don’t use your good hangers that you want returned! If you don't have disposable hangers, we are happy to provide hangers for you - please visit the store PRIOR to dropping off your items to pick them up. Once we have accepted your items, we are happy to give you wire or colored plastic replacement hangers. There is no limit to the amount of clothing items you can bring in at a time.

STEP #3

We do the rest!

Since 1999, we've used our knowledge of quality clothing, retail & resale value, and love of fashion, we will price your clothing items and actively sell your items in our store. Select items will also be photographed and listed to sell online. Sellers earn 40% of the selling price of your items. Exceptions can be made for very expensive designer items (you will receive 50% of the selling price). Expensive items will be reduced in price eventually at our discretion and will be returned to you if they do not sell in the store.

STEP #4

Get Paid

Dannie Duluth will actively sell your items for 30 days. If any items do not sell, they are marked down ½ price for an additional 60 days. After 3 months, if your items have not sold, they will become property of Dannie Duluth and will be donated to a local charity at our earliest convenience. When your item is sold, you will receive 40% of the selling price. Checks are mailed twice a month on the 1st and 15th of every month (minimum amount $21) minus a small 99¢ fee for check postage and handling. Balance owed less than $21 can be used as a store credit or we always encourage consigners to bring in more items to bring your payment check up to the minimum!
